Check out the new book for children called, 'A is for Asheville.' Written and illustrated by Kevin Maddrey, the book was inspired by the beauty of the local surroundings. For almost 20 years, Kevin has been wanting to write a book for children and due to his extensive travels, he never got around to it. This past year has been the first time in over a decade where he actually lived in the same house for four consecutive seasons. The results of that limited mobility have been this book.

Portraiture
Out of any possible painting subject, the art of Portraiture is truly in a league of its own. These paintings tell a story deeper then just the action presented. They speak not only of the sitter and his place in the world, but also of the artists own state of mind.
