My introduction to Yosemite came in 1997 when I first began plein air painting. Having spent many summers living in Yosemite, I've come to have an incredible amount of respect, appreciation and understanding for these mountains. I feel fortunate to be included in the long list of artists finding inspiration in Yosemite. I still haven't read a single book by John Muir though.
